Another excellent example of an early glass front cabinet that was made in the late 19th century and later replaced with the tin front version with the smiling horse. This cabinet is all-original including the finish, stenciling, glass, lock and hinges. On the back in period paint is "Dr. J. G. Lesure Keene NH". Was this the first cabinet made for the doctor to distribute his medicines? Unusual that the hinges are flush mounted and not recessed into the door...an attempt to save money and time. 27"H x 20 1/2"W x 6 1/2"D Some loss to wood top left corner of door. Piece of wood missing from backboard.
