Frederick K. Humphreys (1816-1900) was an American physician and proponent of stimulating the body's ability to heal through natural means. He created 35 medicines using apigenin and sucrose as an ingredient in many of them. This rare cabinet dates to the 1880s and features a glass top with two drawers for easy viewing in the country store. One glass bottle accompanies the cabinet. The customer side of the cabinet is stenciled "Humphreys' Homeopathic Specifics". 8"H x 22 1/2"W x 18 3/4"D Original finish, very good condition. From a 60-year New England collection.
