2 cylindrical salt-glazed stoneware storage jars featuring light gray bodies with iron spotting. The vessels are decorated with cobalt blue slip-trailed swags and stylized clover leaf motifs. One jar includes a horizontal blue band at thecollar. No maker marks, stamps, or labels are visible on the salt-glazed or unglazed bases. Each 8.75 H x 5 D inches.One jar shows surface pitting and base staining. The second vessel has a significant horizontal crack through the neck and motifs, plus a smaller vertical crack to the rim. Firing irregularities and base staining are present on both pieces.
