An American-made John Wright heavy cast iron tree stand in forest green enamel, featuring an architectural openwork base and three adjustable eye-bolts. The lot includes a square melamine decorative plate designed by Betsey Cavallo,depicting Santa Claus with a penguin, and a bundle of gold-toned metallic wire tinsel garland. The tree stand base is incised MADE IN U.S.A. and bears a raised script logo starting with the letter B, though the remaining characters are notclearly legible. 14 x 14 x 5 inches (tree stand).Tree stand shows moderate enamel loss, chipping, and surface oxidation on eye-bolts. The melamine plate exhibits light surface scuffing and fine scratches. Tinsel garland is tangled but appears intact. Overall good vintage and used condition.
