This lot features two hand-pieced and hand-quilted cotton textiles. One square piece displays a blue and cream Hunter's Star pattern, while the larger rectangular work shows an eight-pointed Lone Star. A pinned paper label identifies thelarger piece as Amish made Lancaster, Pa. with a hand-quilted feather and heart design. The Hunter's Star quilt bears a similar label denoting its hand-quilted construction. 34 1/2 inches by 34 1/2 inches; 42 inches by 54 inches. Both textiles are in excellent condition with no visible stains, tears, or fraying. The hand-stitching remains tight and secure throughout both pieces, and the fabric colors appear bright and well-preserved.
