This set of four handmade studio pottery nesting bowls features a hand-painted floral and vine motif. The design includes navy flowers and teal leaves on a cream-colored ground with a teal rim. The base of one bowl is incised with the nameSara and dated 02. These pieces were produced at a New Jersey pottery studio. Small: 2.75 inches H x 6 inches Diameter Medium: 3.5 inches H x 7.25 inches Diameter Large: 4 inches H x 8.75 inches Diameter Largest: 5 inches H x 11 inchesDiameter.The set shows overall glaze crazing. The large bowl has a 7-inch surface crack on the exterior bottom. There is visible shelf wear, grit, and minor iron pocking from the firing process on the unglazed foot rings.
