This 1940s-era scrap quilt is hand-pieced and hand-quilted with cotton fabrics in a colorful grid of blue and pink sashing. The blocks consist of diagonal strips featuring various patterns including florals, stripes, and novelty prints.The reverse is backed with a ditsy floral print cotton. A handwritten inventory tag identifies the piece as hand-quilted with various fabric patterns. 62 (w) x 77 (l) inches.Good vintage condition with expected age-related wear. Multiple brown stains are present on the reverse cotton backing. Minor staining is noted on the front patchwork surface. No significant fraying or material loss is visible.
