Two textile evening bags. One features a fine-gauge petit point needlepoint floral bouquet on a black ground with a jeweled, ornate brass-tone openwork frame. The second is a woven tapestry depicting a neoclassical figural landscape with afloral embossed metal frame and simple ball clasp. Both pieces include link chain straps and patterned fabric linings with interior slip pockets.The floral purse shows vibrant needlepoint but significant lining deterioration with fraying at the frame. The tapestry bag shows general age-toning and minor soiling. Both metal frames have darkened patina. Linings show light wear and staining.
