Three lithographed tin advertising plates from the early 20th century featuring romanticized female portraits. One plate for Y-B Havana Cigars is reverse marked NO 102 - UNA GITANA / PRODUCED EXCLUSIVELY BY THE / CHAS. W. SHONK CO. /CHICAGO, U.S.A. The others feature advertisements for Schmauss Garden of Milwaukee and a 1913 calendar for Schott Bros. of Fraser, Michigan. All display elaborate Art Nouveau borders.The Y-B plate has significant enamel wear at the top and bottom. The Schmauss Garden plate shows surface scratches and reverse tape residue. The 1913 calendar plate exhibits heavy vertical scuffing through the portrait and minor rim rust.
