This hand-carved wooden storage box features an architecturally scalloped exterior with dense foliate and vine motifs. The front showcases a stylized tree motif and a base drawer with a recessed handle. The interior is lined withmustard-colored velvet and secured by a metal key. Handwritten marks L and M appear on the underside. 17.25 L x 11.5 W x 9.25 H inches.The exterior exhibits age-related wear and minor chips to the carved high points. A horizontal separation is visible on the rear panels. The interior velvet lining shows significant fraying at the edges, nap wear, and staining throughout.
