Difficult to find 19th-century carved bag stamp used on feed bags. See previous lot for an example of a stenciled feed bag. This is carved "I. B Holles Grantham". Grantham is located in Upper Allen Township, Cumberland County. Wood oval plaque with iron ring along edge for support. 10" x 13 1/2" Age crack in center. Later black paint.
