A true survivor and very difficult to find. 19th-century Pennsylvania hand-stitched privy bag. A real example compared to the doll quilts that are split open and passed off as a privy bag. This example with attached hangers, the opening is stitched to a point on either side so only a small opening exists and the interior has a backing. 17 3/4"H x 15 1/4" Very good with light soiling.
