Lancaster County blanket chest in original 3-tone paint. Red, applied trim in brown and turned feet in black. Dovetailed, ca. 1850. Descended in a family from the Manheim area. 20 1/2"H x 36 1/2"W x 19"D Bright original colors with alligatored finish. Age split in lid. Retains interior till. No key.
