Vintage 60s Carol Brent Black Sequin Go-Go Dress

This 1960s vintage cocktail mini dress is manufactured by Carol Brent exclusively for Montgomery Ward. Constructed of a dark synthetic base fabric with a full interior lining, the sleeveless shift dress is heavily embellished with all-over black andiridescent silver/white sequin zigzag stitching. Additional design details include a wide scoop neckline, structured shoulder straps, and a full-length rear center seam secured with a vintage metal Talon zipper. A woven gold and white tag inside reads "Carol Brent / EXCLUSIVELY BY MONTGOMERY WARD". This example presents in good vintage condition showing light age-appropriate wear. A few scattered loose threads and minor sequin loss are present along the lower hemline and inner seams, but the embellishments remain dense and bright overall. The metal Talon zipper functions smoothly, and the interior lining remains clean and intact. Measures at 35" length(the hem needs to be re-tacked), 17" pit-to-pit (34" bust), 16" waist (flat), and 19.5" hips (flat).
