Dating to the 1970s, this lot of two vintage graphic t-shirts includes a light blue and dark navy two-tone raglan shirt featuring an arched "KENTUCKY" chest graphic alongside a tan single-stitch novelty graphic tee. The University of Kentucky raglanwas manufactured in the USA under the Fruit of the Loom Uniprints line from a 50/50 poly-cotton blend knit (tagged size L), featuring navy raglan sleeves with blue and white shoulder stripes. The tan tee was produced by Downerwear in a cotton blendknit (tagged size M), featuring a front circular print for the "SKI KURJA-VASS CLUB 'CHICKEN VILLAGE'" depicting a skiing chicken motif. Measurements for the Kentucky shirt are 19 inches chest width by 27.5 inches long; the Ski Club tee measures approximately 19 inches chest width by 24.5 inches long. Both unstretched. Condition for both garments is consistent with normal vintage age and wear. The Kentucky tee shows light fading to the collar trim with strong fabric integrity. The Ski Club teeexhibits minor faint age-spotting and light fabric toning, but retains intact seam stitching and clear graphic printing with no major tear damage observed on either piece. This example lot offers strong display and collectible appeal for enthusiastsof vintage 1970s graphic tees, collegiate sportswear, and novelty resort apparel.
