This ANVS Inc. PVS-7SA night vision goggle system, serial number 305766, is in good overall condition and is accompanied by a soft carrying case, helmet mount, and manual. Designed around the familiar PVS-7 configuration, this unit uses a single image-intensifier system with a biocular viewing arrangement and can be utilized for handheld observation or mounted for hands-free use. Typical PVS-7SA specifications include 1X magnification, an approximately 40-degree field of view, approximately 15mm eye relief, focus from around 9.8" to infinity, and a diopter adjustment range of approximately -6 to +2. Typical PVS-7SA units use two AA batteries, offer 40+ hours of battery life under normal conditions, and weigh approximately 24 ounces without batteries. The PVS-7 design became one of the best-known night vision configurations associated with military and professional nighttime observation.
