Cobra CB9 9mm

Updated August 24, 2026

This Cobra CB9 break-action pistol is chambered in 9mm and features the compact, no-nonsense styling of a traditional derringer-type handgun. Serial number CT067157, this example features an approximately 3" barrel with a shiny bore and remains in good overall condition. The pistol utilizes a compact metal frame with a short grip profile and simple break-action barrel system, giving it a highly distinctive appearance compared with conventional semi-automatic pistols. Cobra Enterprises became known for producing economical derringer-style handguns in a variety of popular calibers, and the CB9 represents one of the more substantial chamberings offered in the compact format. The design’s minimalist construction and diminutive dimensions give it a unique place among modern handguns and make surviving examples interesting to collectors of unusual pocket pistols. With its 9mm chambering, shiny bore, compact frame, and straightforward break-action design, this Cobra is a fun and unusual addition to the auction lineup. Please see photos.
