Mossberg Maverick Model 88 12ga

Updated August 24, 2026

This Mossberg Maverick Model 88 is a pump-action shotgun chambered in 12 gauge and fitted with an approximately 18.5" barrel with a shiny bore. Serial number MV0179409, this example remains in good overall condition. The Maverick 88 is manufactured within the Mossberg family and shares much of its fundamental design heritage with the long-running Mossberg Model 500 series. Known for its straightforward construction and practical configuration, the Model 88 has become one of the more recognizable value-oriented American pump shotgun designs. This example features the shorter 18.5" barrel rather than the longer sporting barrel commonly encountered on field versions, giving it a compact overall profile. The bore remains shiny and the firearm presents in good overall condition with signs of previous handling and use. Please see photos. Mossberg Maverick Model 88 12ga Pump 18.5 Shiny MV0179409 Good
