Mossberg 183KE .410ga

Updated August 24, 2026

This Mossberg Model 183KE is a bolt-action shotgun chambered in .410 gauge and fitted with an approximately 22" barrel with a shiny bore. Serial number 1087875, this example is in fair overall condition and retains its traditional wood stock. Plenty of visible rust and general cosmetic wear are present throughout the firearm, reflecting its age and previous use. Mossberg produced a number of bolt-action shotguns during the mid-20th century, including the Model 183 family in .410 bore. These unusual bolt-operated shotguns represent an interesting period when manufacturers offered inexpensive sporting arms utilizing rifle-like actions. The .410 chambering and vintage bolt-action design give the Model 183KE considerable character compared with more conventional pump or break-action shotguns. This example retains a shiny bore despite its substantial exterior wear and rust. Please see photos. Mossberg 183KE .410ga Bolt 22 Shiny 1087875 Fair
