Maverick Model 88 12ga

Updated August 24, 2026

This Maverick Model 88 is a pump-action shotgun chambered in 12 gauge and fitted with an approximately 18.5" barrel with a shiny bore. Serial number MV1134272, this example remains in good overall condition. Manufactured by Maverick Arms within the Mossberg family of companies, the Model 88 shares much of its basic design heritage with the well-known Mossberg Model 500 while being positioned as a straightforward, economical pump-action shotgun. The Model 88 has become widely recognized for its simple construction and practical design. This particular example features the shorter 18.5" barrel configuration, resulting in a compact overall profile compared with traditional field models. With its shiny bore, good overall condition, familiar pump-action design, and 12-gauge chambering, this is a solid example of the popular Maverick 88 platform. Please see photos.
