Heritage MFG Barkeep .22LR

Updated August 24, 2026

This Heritage Manufacturing Barkeep single-action revolver is chambered in .22 LR and brings Old West-inspired styling into a very compact rimfire package. Serial number 1BH717250, this example features an approximately 2.75" barrel with a shiny bore and is in fair overall condition. The revolver is built around a traditional single-action frame with an exposed hammer, compact grip profile, and engraved grip panels that add an attractive decorative touch. The Barkeep was developed as a short-barreled variation of Heritage’s popular Rough Rider-style rimfire revolvers, combining classic cowboy-gun aesthetics with extremely compact dimensions. Importantly, this revolver is currently seized and will need work before it can operate properly. It should be professionally inspected and repaired prior to use. With its engraved grips, short barrel, traditional single-action styling, and inexpensive .22 LR chambering, this example offers an interesting project for the mechanically inclined rimfire or Western-firearm enthusiast.
