This Ruger Single-Six single-action revolver is chambered in .22 LR and represents a classic example of Ruger’s long-running rimfire sixgun family. Serial number 437225, this example was manufactured in 1966 and features an approximately 5.5" barrel with a shiny bore. Overall condition is fair, with visible age and wear consistent with a vintage revolver. The firearm is built around a traditional steel frame with an exposed hammer, single-action operating system, and classic revolver grip profile. Importantly, the cylinder has mechanical issues and will not rotate properly, so this revolver needs work before it can operate as intended. Ruger introduced the Single-Six in the 1950s, and it quickly became one of the company’s signature rimfire revolvers, combining Old West styling with modern manufacturing. With its 1966 production date, traditional single-action appearance, and shiny bore, this example offers plenty of vintage Ruger character for the project-minded collector. Please see photos.
