Baikal IZH-43E-1C SxS 12ga

Updated August 24, 2026

This Baikal IZH-43E-1C side-by-side break-action shotgun is chambered in 12 gauge and offers the rugged, traditional styling associated with Russian-made sporting doubles. Serial number 0368850B, this example features approximately 29" barrels with shiny bores and remains in good overall cosmetic condition. The shotgun wears checkered wood furniture with a traditional grip and double-gun profile, paired with a steel receiver and side-by-side barrel arrangement. A fiber-optic front sight has been added, while some sticker residue remains visible on the barrel. This shotgun was manufactured in Russia and imported by EAA. Of particular importance, there appears to be a slight bulge in the barrel. Because of that condition, the shotgun should be professionally inspected and may require work before attempting to operate or fire it. Baikal shotguns earned a reputation for straightforward, durable construction and traditional field-gun styling. This example offers plenty of sporting character while presenting an interesting project for the knowledgeable buyer. Please see photos. Baikal IZH-43E-1C SxS 12ga Break 29 Shiny sn - 0368850B Good
