This Smith & Wesson M&P 9 Shield semi-automatic pistol is chambered in 9mm and represents one of the most successful compact handgun designs in Smith & Wesson’s modern lineup. Serial number JEX1831, this example features an approximately 3" barrel with a shiny bore and remains in good overall condition. The pistol utilizes a slim polymer frame with a textured synthetic grip paired with a steel slide, creating the compact profile that helped make the Shield family so popular with American handgun buyers. One magazine is included, along with a Springfield Armory soft case for storage and transport. Introduced as a slimmer member of the M&P family, the Shield quickly became one of Smith & Wesson’s most recognizable modern pistols and helped define the modern single-stack compact handgun category. Its straightforward ergonomics, compact dimensions, and familiar 9mm chambering have kept the model popular for years.
