Godinger Silver Plate Cheese Plate in Box

Godinger Silver Art silver plated glass cheese plate with knife, in its original printed box. The box reads SILVER PLATED 12 IN DIA. GLASS CHEESE PLATE WITH KNIFE, Style number 6097, Godinger Silver Art with the GSA monogram, distributed by Godinger Silver of 63-15 Traffic Ave., Ridgewood, NY 11385, and Made in China. The box photograph shows a round glass plate standing on three grape cluster feet with a grape motif center handle and a matching grape handled cheese knife. Two things bidders must know. The box is opened rather than sealed, with no shrink wrap, the lid flap lifted along the entire long side and a torn corner flap. And the contents were never photographed, so the presence of the plate and the knife is unverified and should be confirmed at preview. Condition of the box is fair with soiling and corner crushing.
