Sears Roebuck Kenmore straight stitch sewing machine head, model 117-959, serial 487520, in a brown crinkle paint finish with chrome faceplate, needle plate and tension assembly, and a forward and reverse stitch length lever numbered 1 through 6. The head is set into a wood cabinet with a mitered starburst marquetry front panel, turned tapered legs, and a brown marbled bakelite twelve post spool rack under the lid holding six wooden thread spools. Two worn attachment boxes marked ROTARY ATTACHMENTS and KENMORE BUTTONHOLE are included, though their contents are not shown and are unverified. Important note for bidders. The motor plate reads 25 CYCLES rather than 60 cycles, an old regional power standard, so this motor may not run correctly on modern household current. Condition is fair. Untested. Sold as-is.
