This refinished heavy-duty industrial Singer sewing machine comes on a Singer treadle base. The last 3 pictures are of the machine and base before they were both refinished. All of the attachments shown in those photos are included but have not been re-attached to the machine. This machine is untested as the cord is badly worn. The Singer 111w155 is a legendary heavy-duty industrial walking foot (compound feed) sewing machine. It is prized by leatherworkers, canvas makers, and upholstery shops for its ability to feed thick, multi-layered materials smoothly without slipping. Exact production year records for "W" series industrial models are largely missing or incomplete, making precise dating difficult, though most 111W series machines (like the popular 111w155) date from the 1940s through the 1950s.
