There is a chip/loss to the enamel along the lower edge, with additional light surface wear from age, display, and storage. No other major damage was noted. Please review all photographs carefully for the complete condition. Vintage enamel-on-copper decorative plate signed M. Ratcliff, identified as the work of Margaret Ratcliff, known for mid-century enamel-on-copper artwork. The design features white dogwood blossoms with green leaves against a textured blue ground and a copper-toned rim. Comparable Margaret Ratcliff pieces are generally attributed to the 1950s-1960s. Measures approximately 8-1/2 inches in diameter and retains an attached wire wall hanger on the reverse. Interestingly, another documented Margaret Ratcliff floral plate is also listed at approximately 8-1/2 inches, which lines up well with this example. A strong example of mid-century American enamel art with recognizable dogwood imagery and a confirmed artist attribution. See the other Treasure State Auctions lots for additional vintage art, decorative metalwork, and collectible wall dcor.
