A three-piece ceramic serving set manufactured by Coalport, England, featuring a transfer-printed and hand-enameled Chinoiserie design. The set consists of a large oval platter, a square two-handled serving plate, and a lidded vegetable tureen. The central decorative motif depicts a gnarled flowering tree with polychrome blossoms in shades of pink, blue, yellow, and green. Rims are finished with a brown Greek key fretwork border and gilded highlights appear on the handles and edges. The undersides of the pieces feature a green printed backstamp consisting of a crown above the words MADE IN ENGLAND, COALPORT, and A.D. 1750. A small, hand-painted red-brown mark resembling a letter C is also present on the base of one piece. Dimensions measured against a ruler: Square plate width: approx. 9.75 inches Tureen width: approx. 11.5 inches. Condition: The set is in fair to good condition with visible surface crazing throughout. The interior of the vegetable tureen shows significant dark staining and discoloration. There is light wear to the gilded accents on the handles and rims. No chips or cracks are observed.
