A trio of porcelain decorative items in the Chinese export style, consisting of an octagonal planter, an oval lidded box, and a handled jar. All three pieces feature underglaze blue decoration on a white ground. The octagonal planter is designed with a flared rim and a pedestal base containing circular pierced openings and a central drainage hole. The exterior is decorated with scrolling peonies and foliage. The oval lidded box has a central peony on the lid surrounded by vines; the base contains a mark in blue underglaze that is not clearly legible. The handled jar or sugar bowl features two lug handles and fruiting peach branch decoration. It includes a gilt-highlighted rim and a Greek key border at the foot. The glaze on the jar shows fine all-over crazing. Dimensions (measured against a ruler): Lidded Box: H approx. 2 in x W approx. 4 in Handled Jar: H approx. 5 in Octagonal Planter: H approx. 5.5 in. Condition: The octagonal planter shows significant soil staining to the interior, a crack extending from the rim, and minor chipping to the foot rim. The handled jar exhibits wear and loss to the gilding on the rim, fine all-over crazing, and small nicks along the top edge. The lidded box is in good condition with no visible cracks or major chips.
