Automotive Magazine Advertisements

This collection consists of approximately 27 original vintage automotive advertisements sourced from United States periodicals, spanning from 1911 through 1970. The group features a wide array of domestic brands, including Mercury,Oldsmobile, De Soto, Pontiac, Ford, American Motors, Kaiser-Frazer, Hudson, and Haynes. Specific models highlighted within the collection include the Mercury Comet, Marauder, and Marquis; Oldsmobile Holiday Sedan, F-85, and Toronado; thePontiac Bonneville; and the AMC Marlin fastback. The lot includes notable examples such as a 1911 Haynes advertisement from The Literary Digest and a 1951 Henry J advertisement featuring Burns and Allen. Each advertisement is an individualpaper sheet, with many professionally presented on white cardstock backings and housed within clear plastic archival-style protective sleeves. Most sleeves bear handwritten identification at the top, including shorthand codes, vehicle makeThe advertisements are in good to very good vintage condition. Most items exhibit light toning and yellowing characteristic of aged magazine paper. There are occasional minor creases, soft edges, and small corner folds visible through the plastic sleave.
