J.I. CO. Murano Art Glass Clown Bowl & 2 Goblets

Updated August 23, 2026

This collection consists of three pieces of hand-blown art glass, including a figural clown bowl and two elaborate decorative goblets. The first piece is a Murano glass figural bowl depicting a seated clown. The figure's torso forms a wide, translucent blue glass bowl, accented by applied glass elements including a yellow head with green eyes, a red mouth, a black hat, opaque white hands, and dark blue feet. This piece bears an original oval foil label on the interior reading HAND MADE VENETIAN J.I. CO. MADE IN ITALY with a black gondola silhouette. The second item is a tall decorative glass chalice. The bowl is decorated with horizontal bands of translucent light blue, dark blue, and lavender purple glass. It features an elaborate multi-part stem composed of twisted and textured sections in purple, clear, and cobalt blue. The flared base is dark blue with an internal mottled purple pattern. The third item is a tall decorative glass. All pieces are in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The foil label on the clown bowl shows minor wear at the edges. Surface wear is minimal and consistent with age and display. Blue chalice height: 9.5 inches
