Folk art papier mƒch‚ lion with mustache, painted brown with black and yellow highlights, handcrafted at the renowned SerMel workshop in Tonala, Jalisco, Mexico, the base lettered "Sermel / Tonala Jal / Mexico", 4 1/4" high x 6 1/2" long, good condition, wear to tips of ears, glazed-over paint chip to back of head.
