Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973) A vibrant oil on canvas featuring a reclining pale pink nude figure intertwined with a green philodendron plant. The composition includes a white classical bust on a pedestal set against a deep blue background with dark drapery. Signed "Picasso" in the upper right. Framed. Pablo Picasso was a towering figure of 20th-century art, renowned for co-founding the Cubist movement and his restlessly inventive style. Though Spanish by birth, he spent most of his prolific career in France, mastering diverse disciplines including painting, sculpture, and ceramics. His work remains some of the most influential and highly valued in the history of Western art.
