Pauline Bieri & Nippon + Mini Doll Assortment

This collection consists of eleven miniature dolls and figurines of various ages, primarily crafted from bisque porcelain and celluloid. The group features an all-bisque jointed baby doll with set glass eyes and painted lashes, hand-incised on the back Pauline Bieri 78. A stationary figurine of a girl in a blue and white dress is marked Nippon in blue script on the reverse. The lot includes a bisque doll dressed in a red crocheted outfit marked JAPAN on the upper back, a Chinese figural doll in a yellow satin-style costume with a black yarn braid, and a bisque doll in a pink knit bodysuit. Also present are two celluloid infants in fabric wraps and three small bisque penny dolls, including one with a gold-tone fabric skirt and one with a bead necklace. The dolls exhibit a mix of jointed and stationary construction with both molded and painted facial features. Height: 1.5 to 5 inches. These dolls show expected signs of age and wear. The jointed artist doll has loose stringing, and the vintage fabrics across the lot exhibit some minor fraying and light soiling consistent with their age. The bisque and celluloid components remain in generally good condition.
