This collection features a large Anne Lee Thorndike bunny doll designed with a flexible wire armature and classic painted facial features showing a mischievous expression. The rabbit is dressed in a blue sleeveless dress with white eyelet lace trim and a pink satin ribbon bow, accented with wispy blonde synthetic hair and original paper and sewn-in labels. Included is a pair of handcrafted primitive cat dolls with painted features and tea-stained fabric for an aged appearance. One cat is dressed in a yellow floral dress holding a wire string with three stuffed fabric fish, while the other wears a green floral shirt and green pinstriped overalls. The group also contains a knit bedtime bunny doll holding a miniature Bedtime Stories book and wearing a red and navy plaid dress and matching bonnet with wire-rimmed glasses. Completing the lot is a vintage sock doll depicting a man with embroidered blue eyes, brown yarn hair, and a tan jacket over a white ribbed sweater area and matching flat cap. Anne Lee Thorndike Bunny: 16 inches, Primitive Cats: 13 inches, Bedtime Bunny: 12 inches, Sock Doll: 18 inches. This collection remains in good vintage condition with most items displaying expected surface wear and light dust accumulation commensurate with age. The primitive cat dolls exhibit intentional aging to the textiles. The sock doll shows some visible staining and purple dye transfer to the back of the jacket, trousers, and cap. The Annalee bunny shows minor pilling to the felt and light soiling on the feet.
