Armand Marseille mold 154 socket head doll featuring brown glass sleep eyes, an open mouth with porcelain teeth, and an auburn mohair wig mounted to a gusseted kid leather torso with original paper labels. Construction includes bisque lower arms and hands, metal rivet-jointed shoulders and knees, and cloth lower legs. Outfitted in a period-appropriate three-piece white eyelet cotton ensemble consisting of a high-neck dress, chemise, drawers, and knit socks. Height: 27inches.This antique doll presents in stable condition with expected signs of play and age. The head and hands are well-preserved, and the kid leather body displays characteristic surface wear with several historical repairs and restorations to the joints.
