Vtg Floral Gone With The Wind-Style Parlor Lamp

Vintage electric parlor lamp in the classic “Gone With the Wind” style, featuring a coordinating glass font and large upper shade. Both sections are decorated with hand-painted pink and yellow flowers, green foliage and delicate scrolling accents against an opalescent white ground. The upper shade has a textured yellow-green neck and an attractive scalloped rim. Ornate antiqued brass-tone metal fittings include a pierced gallery, decorative collar and elaborate footed base. The combination of softly colored floral glass and substantial Victorian Revival metalwork gives the lamp a particularly romantic appearance. Measures approximately 21 inches high overall. Condition: Displays minor wear consistent with age and use. Please examine the photographs carefully for glass, finish and overall condition. No maker’s mark has been identified. As with all vintage lighting, professional inspection is recommended before continued use. An attractive accent lamp for a Victorian, traditional or cottage-style interior.
