Signed G. Turner Floral Still Life Oil on Canvas

Updated August 22, 2026

Striking vintage floral still life painting depicting a large white lily in full bloom, rendered in warm, earthy shades of cream, rust, ochre, brown and muted green. The oversized flower fills nearly the entire composition, giving the painting a bold, almost modernist quality. Painted on stretched canvas with visible brushwork and areas of expressive texture. The warm palette and dramatic scale of the lily make this an attractive decorative piece, particularly for a traditional, eclectic, or mid-century inspired interior. The painting appears to be signed “G. Turner” in the lower right corner; artist attribution has not been confirmed. The original stretcher is also marked with the dimensions. Dimensions: approximately 24" H x 20" W Medium: Oil or mixed-media painting on canvas Subject: White lily / floral still life Signature: Appears to read “G. Turner,” lower right Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related surface wear. There is a noticeable smudge/scuff or dark surface mark in the lower right portion of the painting, along with some smaller marks and wear visible upon close inspection. It is unknown whether the affected area can be safely cleaned, and no attempt has been made to do so. Please examine photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description. An appealing original floral painting with strong decorative presence and a beautifully warm, dramatic palette.
