Vintage Lane Cedar Chest, manufactured by Lane Furniture Co. of Altavista, Virginia — a classic American hope chest brand. Features: Bookmatched walnut/rosewood veneer front with contrasting inlay banding Aromatic cedar-lined interior, "Pressure Tested for Aroma Tightness" stamp visible inside Lift-out tray with green felt lining for smaller items Original Lane maker's stamp and patent numbers stamped inside the lid Rounded, streamlined mid-century case design with carved detail along the base and lid edge Condition: finish shows overall good gloss and color with light surface scuffing on the top (visible in photos). Lock is disabled
