Seller: Callista Kuczler Group Affiliation: Palermo 4-H Species: Rabbit Hello Potential Buyer, My name is Callista Kuczler, as of the moment, I am15 going on 16, and I am raising rabbits under the leadership of the Palermo 4-H club. This is my fourth year presenting and selling rabbits with the 4-H club. I have minimal hobbies that I take pride in, such as playing a trumpet in my school band, making 3D wooden puzzles, and crocheting. I am currently being educated at Las Plumas High School and my choices of extracurricular activities are band and culinary. As for pets and siblings, I have an older sister,three dogs and five cats, 23 rabbits which are all breeding rabbits, 17 chickens, and 2 breeding goats that are my sisters. I have four rabbits that I had entered into my roster for fair, and three that I will be taking into auction and showmanship. They all have names that I have given them. Those names being Echo, Delta, Charlie, and Blue. They all have very similar weights, around a 3.5lb to 3.7lb range, and while being almost identical, they still have their own individual personalities and habits. While Blue and Echo are more reserved and enjoy eating over interacting, Charlie and Delta prefer to sniff around and play either with each other or others. While it may be hard to discern some animals' personalities, I am proud to say that I got to help with raising them since they were born, and I got to see them develop their personalities first hand. In the past I have faced a multitude of challenges leading up to auctioning off my rabbits in previous years, but that could be seen as a walk in the park compared to this year. As of late we have had to work on re our rabbits into a new room and work on figuring out how to best work on cooling for them, as well as trying to keep the room clean as best we can with so many rabbits. We also had a few fires occur in the recent years, so we have had a few scared and have had to choose whether to start moving out the animals prematurely or not, so it has been a bit of an interesting time getting everything properly situated. While learning to care for this breed of rabbits has been a challenge in its own right, it has become manageable enough where I continue to partake in the event and the care I continue to give to these animals. I would like to cordially invite you to the Butte County Fair, where others and I will be showing the work we have put in with our rabbits and then selling them to the highest bidder on Saturday, August 29 that roughly 10am.
