Seller: Clint Earley Group Affiliation: Las Plumas FFA Species: Beef Hi, I am Clint Earley and am a recent graduate of Palermo Middle School where I was actively involved in the FFA as the Treasurer last year. I have since started school at Las Plumas High School and am very excited to be in an Ag Biology class and an Ag Mechanics class. Outside of school, I love to fish, help with our families comercial cattle and Rodeo. I plan to Team Rope, Calf Tie and Cut this upcoming year as part of the California High School Rodeo District One Rodeo Team. This is my second year participating in the Butte County Fair Ag Mechanics Institute. Early in the summer, I was walking into Grange Co-Op store and a big bale feeder caught my eye as something that I could build for my Ag Mechanics Project. I knew this would be a big project and take my dads guidance to make it happen. My mom and I came up with a plan and purchased the materials and then the magic happend in the shop. I am excited with the finish project that my dad was right there with me along the way to give advice and help with the heavy lifting. I hope this feeder will help its new owner not waste as much hay when they put out a big bale with cattle. My second project that I am taking to the Butte County Fair is my steer. This is my 6th steer that I have shown at the Butte County Fair. I purchased this calf from Chris Bird and a little fun fact is that he was actually a bucket calf that was super gentle when I got him and I have enjoyed raising him. I know he is plenty fat and hope he is delicious on someones table. I hope you have enjoyed learning about my projects.
