Seller: Blake Earley Group Affiliation: Las Plumas FFA Species: Beef Hi, I'm Blake Earley and am a recent graduate of Las Plumas High School where I am involved in FFA. I am excited to be starting school at San Luis Obispo this fall where I will be actively involved in the Rodeo Team and major in Agriculture Systems Management. I have raised steers for the past 10 years for Butte County Fair, several out of my own cows. We recently changed to fall calving so this steer, I purchase from Chris Bird, a local cattlewoman. I promise you he is fat and ready to fill a freezer weigh over 1300lbs. This is my 3'd year participating in the Butte County Fair Agriculture Mechanics Institute program. For this project, I chose to build a rack for saddles. This rack will sit against a tack room wall and comfortably hold 3 saddles and 3 pads. I would like to invite you to watch us show our steers on Thursday August 27th at 3pm with breeding beef cattle first, then 4-H Market Steers. I would guess that the FFA show will start between 5-6pm. The Butte County Junior Livestock Auction is Saturday August 29, 2026 and starts at 10am.
