Joe Jaroski (1925-2011) DuQuoin, IL 3" and 2.75" long Two miniature single reed smooth barrel duck calls with metal collars by Illinois maker Joe Jaroski. The Osage-orange call, signed and dated 1995 on the collar, has a painted mallard head and painted bird dog head on opposite sides of the barrel. The cocobolo call is signed and dated 1994 on the collar. Joe started making calls after returning from service in WWII and he used many designs, including Reelfoot, Arkansas and Louisiana styles. He has been written about in multiple call books, including Jim Flemming's Custom Call Volume I & II and Russel Lewis's The Art of American Game Calls.
