Vintage Sony Handycam Vision Video Hi8 XR camcorder, Model CCD-TRV65 NTSC, offered with an extensive assortment of accessories. This classic analog Sony video camera features Hi8 XR recording, SteadyShot image stabilization, and NightShot 0 Lux infrared recording, making it a great piece of late-1990s consumer video technology and a desirable option for collectors of vintage camcorders and retro electronics. The camcorder is fitted with an aftermarket Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar .7x wide-angle lens, marked 55mm, which substantially increases the camera’s wide-angle field of view. The attached lens measures approximately 4" wide and includes a Kodak lens cover. Included with the camcorder are the power source/AC adapter, two batteries, battery charger, remote control, carrying case, wide-angle lens, and lens cover. This makes for a nicely equipped vintage video camera package for a collector, videography enthusiast, analog media hobbyist, or someone interested in the increasingly popular retro Hi8 and Y2K camcorder aesthetic. The camera is in good pre-owned cosmetic condition overall with general signs of age and previous use. There is minor visible wear to the camera’s hand strap/handle area.
