Legras French Art Nouveau art glass vase, circa 1900, formed as a tall slender rectangular-section vessel with softly rounded corners and thick clear-to-pale amber glass, the exterior decorated with an atmospheric wooded landscape rendered in textured enamel and relief-like surface treatment. A tall dark tree dominates the foreground beside a quiet waterside setting, while smaller trees, distant hills, and softly graduated terrain create a striking sense of depth across the translucent body. The reverse is more sparsely decorated, allowing the softly mottled glass to remain visible, and bears the hand-painted “Legras” signature near the lower edge. Signed Legras landscape vases of this period are documented in both rectangular and square-section forms, with comparable scenic compositions using trees, lakeside terrain, and frosted or enameled grounds. Condition appears very good overall from the photographs, with expected light surface wear, minor scratches, and small irregularities consistent with age and manufacture; no major chips or cracks are evident. Measures 6"H x 2"W.
