Substantial oval center or dining table in the French Provincial taste, featuring a warm pink and cream variegated marble-tile inset top framed by a broad molded wooden border accented with a narrow brass inlay band. The shaped apron is enriched with flowing molded contours and raised decorative details, supported by an elaborately carved central pedestal with a lobed urn-form standard and four sweeping legs terminating in curled feet; the forward leg is further embellished with carved floral and foliate ornament. The combination of marble, warm-toned wood, brass inlay, and sculptural carving gives the table a formal and richly decorative presence suitable for a dining room, foyer, or large central seating area. Condition shows age and use, including scattered surface scratches, abrasions, finish wear and discoloration along the wooden border and apron, with visible alteration or reinforcement beneath the top around the pedestal mounting; the marble tiles exhibit natural veining and minor surface wear.
