A collection of four vintage Western-themed bolo ties with various slide designs and braided cords. The first tie features a cast silver-tone metal slide depicting a bucking bronco with a cowboy rider. It is fitted with a black braided textile cord and smooth, rounded metal tips. The second tie is set with a large, triangular turquoise-coloured stone cabochon within a metal frame with scalloped and foliate decoration. The reverse has a copper-tone base plate fitted with a lever-lock clasp. It is mounted on a black braided leather cord and finished with elongated, tapered silver-tone metal tips. The third tie comprises a cast pewter-tone oval slide by the Siskiyou Buckle Co. The design features a steer skull over a circular target-style pattern with two hanging feathers. It is fitted with a black braided leather cord and ribbed metal tips. The reverse is stamped with a circular Celtic-style knot logo and marked: SISKIYOU PEWTER, (C) 1983, (C) 1987, 3-2, and 870297. The fourth tie consists of a small oval slide with a black enamel background and a raised silver-tone steer head, set within a scalloped edge frame. It has a black braided textile cord and ribbed metal tips matching the Siskiyou example. Condition: The collection is in good vintage condition with general signs of wear consistent with age. The metal tips on the turquoise-set tie show noticeable surface oxidation and tarnish. All braided cords appear flexible and intact.
