This collection includes eleven Christmas-themed costume jewelry brooches, featuring several pieces from Avon including dated editions. The identified pieces comprise a pine branch tree with a bow marked Avon 2004, a glittered snowman with a blue shovel marked Avon 2005, a Santa Claus figure marked Avon 2006, a silver-tone tiered Christmas tree marked Avon, and a decorated tree marked Avon Annual 2008. The remainder of the collection includes a penguin in a Santa hat, a large red-glittered poinsettia with a clear rhinestone center, a pink enamel ornament set with multicolored stones, a gold-tone reindeer profile with red and green stones, a sedan carrying an enamel Christmas tree, and an ornate cluster brooch featuring bells and a reindeer. The pieces are constructed from gold-tone and silver-tone base metals, finished with enamel and glitter, and set with various colored rhinestones and glass stones in shades of red, green, blue, amber, and clear.
