A matching Vanguard Furniture upholstered club chair and square ottoman manufactured in Hickory, North Carolina. Both pieces are upholstered in a heavy-weight fabric featuring a large-scale traditional floral pattern with stylized peoniesin shades of rose, gold, and cream against a dark navy ground. The design is accented by vertical bands of printed rope-twist borders and finished with matching fabric piping. The chair features loose, reversible back and seat cushions,while the ottoman has a single loose top cushion. Both pieces include kick-pleated skirts that conceal the legs. The manufacturer label is present on the underside of the chair reading Fine Upholstered Furniture / Vanguard / Upholstery /Hickory, N.C. alongside a care label specifying cleaning code S. Chair measures 31 inches tall by 36 inches wide by 39 inches deep Ottoman measures 21 inches tall by 36 inches wide by 25 inches deep.This attractive set shows expected light surface wear consistent with age and residential use. The floral upholstery remains bright and clean with no significant flaws noted.
